Providing support for genderqueer and nonbinary kids in Maine as well as for adults and professionals who serve as their social support, can help save lives.

Our mission is to support and empower transgender people to create a world where they can thrive. MaineTransNet is a community based organization led by transgender people for transgender people. We provide peer-to-peer support groups, social and community events, advocacy for the transgender community across Maine, and training for medical, mental health, and social service providers.

Our mission is to protect and advance full equality for all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer Mainers by creating an inclusive and intersectional movement through political action, community building, education, engagement and collaboration.

Maine Access Points (MAP) is a harm reduction organization, providing overdose prevention services and education and naloxone distribution, peer support, and advocacy throughout rural Maine.

PFLAG Portland, Maine, offers compassionate peer support to the parents, families and friends of, and including, LGBTQ+ individuals through group discussion, education, advocacy and creating connections to community resources.
